After morning pickup at your hotel in Beijing, travel in an air-conditioned private vehicle to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, a journey that takes about 2 hours.

Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the oldest and most rugged sections, covered by picturesque chestnut orchards. Unlike the tourist-packed Badaling Wall, closer to the city, Mutianyu remains less explored, so you can leisurely wander the iconic monument without the crowds. You can even climb ancient watchtowers for views of the surrounding countryside.

Ride a cable car up to the top of this World Heritage Site, get great photo ops, and have the option to take a toboggan back down.
