Our guide and driver will pick you up at the lobby of your downtown hotel at 08:00 in the morning and drive to Mutianyu Great Wall. It will take about 2 hours from downtown Beijing to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall is ranked top on TripAdvisor among all the Great Wall sections for its picturesque scenery and beautifully restored architecture. It is the most child-friendly section, with various ways of visiting. Compared with the top-notch Badaling, Great Wall at Mutianyu is less crowded, thus a good destination on hot holidays for a Great Wall tour at ease. The round-trip cable car fare at the wall is not included. Take a chair lift and toboggan ride (own expense). Once on top, you can take in the awe-inspiring view of the Great Wall traversing the lush mountains with many watchtowers distributed along the ramparts.
After visiting the Great Wall at Mutianyu, We’ll rest and enjoy delicious local Beijing food for lunch at our well-selected local restaurant. Your guide will help you order the dishes according to your likes.

After lunch, we will continue our tour to the Forbidden City by a 2 hours ride. You will be accompanied to walk through the Tiananmen Tower and tour the majestic Forbidden City, which used to be the imperial palace for about 600 years during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Then this day tour ends here, and we will drive you back to the hotel.
